The southern Alps offer some of the best climbing in the world, including rock climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing and mixed routes. It really is an area you can do everything in.
On this special independent climbing trip, we are offering you a chance to climb your own routes without being tied to the group or waiting for instructors to finish with someone else. This is for experienced climbers who are competent enough to climb routes without guidance. We will make sure everything else is taken care of, from picking you up at the airport through all the accommodation and catering, we can even help you out with gear if you need it.
Our local team will look after you all week , and not only cook your meals but travel along with you, to show you the best routes and areas for your grade and experience, often you will climb with you or do a route nearby as they are all keen climbers to. If they get to the top before you, the will probably have a cup of tea waiting. There local knowledge means they can advise on the routes in condition and most likely to free of other climbers, plus hand tips like what gear your likely to need.
After a hard day climbing relax in the stunning valley while we sort out dinner.
Come along with your regular climbing partner, or if you are coming on your own let us know and we can try pair you up.
Numbers are limited to 8 so we can ensure that everyones climbs the routes they want.
Please remember this is a trip for climbers who already climb independently there will not be any instructors on hand to coach you.
